You guessed it… People get up and get shit done early!
This is a very short book/audiobook that you can crush within a couple hours. That being said, it’s really not a lot of great substance to it or stories. It does put things in perspective though for people with families or significant others where you don’t have a lot of down time to yourself in the afternoons or at night. Laura Vanderkam says if you want that time, if you want to get ahead of people, you need to get your ass up and do it in the morning.
Vanderkam says how challenging it can be at first so take baby steps. Try getting up 15 minutes earlier (and going to bed 15 minutes earlier) at first for a couple weeks until it becomes HABIT. Habits are everything and you need to have plenty of repetition until your body (and mind) can adjust.
